Abstract

Like a universe without borders, science constantly attracts humanity to a new corner. With the help of technology, which makes its impact not only in the field of treatment but also in the field of research and development of medicine, unique data is collected during medical studies, and vital research and evaluations are carried out on these data. The developmental capacity of every human phenomenon is researched with curiosity and examined in all its details. While the existence of a method of withdrawn boundaries supports development in the studies carried out, if a method devoid of principles is used, some rights violations and controversial ethical values may manifest themselves. While all human characteristics are precious, biological data and the process of applications that will be carried out through these data need a more protected area. Personal rights and freedoms are protected under both international and national law. Although it varies among countries, individual rights, whose framework has now been drawn, are related to the concept of "absolute value," and their legal status has been adopted. Human biological materials are at the core of new-generation health studies. Everything specific to humans used in research and studies will also share this absolute value. It is inevitable for these values to be used carefully for "human dignity," which forms the basis of global texts. Protecting personal data, which forms the backbone of the work, is accepted as the central element in the legally indisputable value structure. In this study, an evaluation will be conducted by examining current conditions in the context of digitalization, personal data, human values, and privacy.
