Nowadays, when technological developments increasingly surround the life of society, the phenomenon of surveillance has become an indispensable element of everyday life. At a time when everything that is or is not under consideration can be monitored, the relations of surveillance and power have also evolved to a different dimension. Surveillance, which has found representation in all aspects of social life, from art to health, sports to economics, has been among the subjects that have been covered quite a lot, especially in motion picture works. For this study, which aims to reveal the representations of surveillance and power relations in the white screen, the Tournament film was selected as a exemplary work. It is thought that the selected film has obvious representations in accordance with the purpose of the study. In this direction, the film selected as a sample will be examined by discourse analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods of social sciences. In the study, in which the method in question will be presented academically, the concepts of panopticon, superpanopticon and synopticon will also be examined. It is thought that the study, which aims to reveal how the discourse of power is reproduced in the context of surveillance and power relations in cinema, will contribute to the literatüre.
