Habermas argues that the rational mind colonizes the life-world in rationalized worlds as a result of the separation of life-world and system integration. He criticizes the colonization of subjective worlds by rational-strategic reason and normative reason. He proposes 'communicative action' as a solution to this feature of rational action. Habermas argues that individuals who negotiate on equal terms based on sincerity will get rid of the colonialism of rational reason. However, Hardt and Negri describe our contemporary society with American-like informatization rather than European rationality. One of the consequences of this informatization is that with the introduction of social media into everyday life, communicative action begins to colonize everyday life. In this study, it is aimed to make a theoretical description of relationships that digital platform interfaces and usage practices colonize, and the informatization of everyday life. For example; While Airbnb is colonizing the practices of accommodation, Bionluk is colonizing the practices of LinkedIn working life. Twitter colonizes thoughts, Tinder colonizes love and relationship practices. This study includes some parts of the literature of the unpublished doctoral thesis.
